We’re proud to be an independent business, only supplying the very best quality plants.
As well as growing our own at our on-site nursery, we travel across Europe to personally source the very best plant varieties.
Unlike big multi-national chains which are locked into timely contracts with suppliers, we have no red tape, allowing us to source new and exciting varieties each season, and offer a much wider selection of high-quality plants.
Fruit and Vegetables
Create your own kitchen garden.
No matter the size of plot, everyone can grow fruit and veg plants in containers as well as in the ground. An all year round crop of tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, peas and many more unusual varieties can be produced, even in the smallest of gardens.
Our fruit trees are specially selected to do well in Scotland. Grow your own fruits and enjoy picking raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and tayberries throughout the season.
All our veg is grown on our own nursery so it’s always fresh and of the highest quality. No food miles here, just a few metres on a trolley.
Bedding & Basket Plants
Perfect for inspirational colour and interest all year round!
From autumn through to spring we have a wonderful selection of Primroses, Polyanthus, Pansies and Violas as well as evergreen plants to add texture and foliage colour.
From spring through the summer you can create the most stunning containers and borders with varieties like Impatiens, Begonias, Petunia, Lobelia and Marigolds to name but a few. For hanging baskets and to trail over the sides of containers we have trailing Petunias and Verbena in an amazing selection of colours, as well as many other more unusual varieties.
Herbs
High quality, fresh & fragrant herbs
Whether it’s for culinary or medicinal use or just for scent and colour, herbs have become firm favourites in the garden. We have a large selection available in store.
There is nothing more lovely than a bunch of freshly picked Lavender or a sprig of Rosemary with your roast Lamb. Tomato pasta is incomplete without Basil, and Oregano is a must in a Bolognese. We also supply our own Café with herbs!
Hardy Ornamental Plants
Home-grown and quality sourced
We grow a large percentage of our own shrubs and herbaceous plants and are always sourcing new and exciting varieties. We also source the best plants from Europe, and Carolyn and David make regular trips to hand pick the best quality and varieties.
Our team is always on hand and are delighted to offer useful help, ideas and advice – you won’t find anyone more passionate about plants!
Roses
Quality bush, climbers and patio varieties
If you love the delicious scent and colour a rose brings to the garden then you’ll enjoy exploring the rose section in our outdoor plant area.
We stock bush roses, climbers and patio types, as well as the famous David Austin varieties that will decorate your patio with perfume and blousy blooms all summer long.
Houseplants
We stock many types of indoor plants to transform your home.
Plants are at the very heart of our garden centre but you don’t necessarily need a garden to enjoy their benefits. We have a large and exciting range of indoor plants for every room and aspect in your home. We continually source a wide variety of foliage and flowering plants to add texture and colour to your indoor space.
Not only do green plants improve our lives visually they improve the air quality, have many health benefits and improve productivity if you work from home!

Alpines
We stock a wonderful collection of varieties that flower year round. Ideal in rockeries, alpine sinks and nestling in the crevices of an old stone wall, ensuring. you can make the most of every area of your garden.
Climbers
There is always room in every garden to go vertical. We have a climber for every location, including beautiful Clematis (the queen of climbers), Honeysuckle and Jasmine – plus many other varieties to choose from.
Seeds & Bulbs
We have partnered with De Ree and Taylors for bulbs as well as Thompson & Morgan and Fothergills for seeds, having partnered with them for many years due to their exceptional quality and variety.
