Are you able to carry heavy items to my car?
Yes please just ask at the tills when you are paying and someone will help you to your car
Do you allow coaches?
We are sorry but we cannot take coaches to visit
Do you offer a delivery service?
We can deliver in the local area. Please ask for a price
Do you guarantee your plants?
We guarantee our hardy plants for 2 years and will give a free replacement or credit providing it has received reasonable care. It must bear our garden centre labelling and be presented for examination along with proof of purchase. We cannot guarantee against weather damage.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
We sell National Garden gift cards which can be used nationwide in store and Pentland plants gift cards in store and on our website.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes you are welcome to bring your dog into the garden centre and we have a dog friendly area in cafe panola

We regret we are unable to show plant availablity on our website as they they change pretty much on a daily basis! You are welcome to email us with queries on plants and we can let you know if we have specific plants or offer alternatives. Can I book for the cafe?
We don’t take bookings for the cafe however if you book afternoon tea then a table is reserved for you. We have a buzzer system so if we are full we give you a buzzer and call you when a table becomes available. You are then free to browse around the shop at your leisure.
Can I telephone the cafe directly?
The cafe are so busy they cannot take phone calls but you can email them at panola.pentlandplants@gmail.com if you have any queries
Is the site accessible for the disabled and infirm? Do you have a wheelchair?
The site is pretty flat and there are small ramps in a few areas, We have wheelchairs you are welcome to borrow whilst you are here
Can I book afternoon tea?
Afternoon Tea is £15 per person and must booked in advanced on our website https://www.pentlandplantsgardencentre.co.uk/cafe
What time do you close?
Our hours are Monday to Saturday 9am -5pm, Sundays 10am to 5pm. In May and June we stay open till 6pm weekdays
What is the soup or scone of the day today?
If you go on to our table ordering site you can see all the menu and specials each day. This only shows during opening hours.
What time do you stop serving food?
Cafe Panola stops serving food and drinks at 4.30pm
Do you sell pond plants/turf/fencing/bulk top soil/garden furniture, sheds, large stones and gravel, lawn mowers and electrical gardening equipment?
Unfortunately we do not sell any of the above items. We usually have some good wooden benches but that’s all in the way of furniture
Do you have a Silver/Golden/Ruby or any celebration wedding roses?

What number bus stops outside?
The 37 and 47 buses stop at the end of our road
